This fellowship was established in memory of Joanna R. Baker to recognize and continue her vision of interdisciplinary research and the application of information technology to problem solving in the public sector. Funding will be used to recognize and support graduate students who have a commitment to a career that will apply information technology, methods and procedures to problem solving in the public sector. Recipients may be enrolled in an interdisciplinary program, utilizing expertise of information technology in various industries such as health care, psychology, criminal justice, etc. Fellowship includes $3,000 and $750 travel allowance for research presentation at a conference.
